Sun Sentinel: West Point posthumously admits shooting victim Peter Wang to Class of 2025
Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting victim Peter Wang dreamed of attending West Point Military Academy one day. The prestigious military academy flew an officer to South Florida to confer a letter of acceptance for the Class of 2025 to his family.
Wang was killed trying to help classmates escape the gunman at Douglas High School. His parents received this letter saying he was posthumously admitted to the academy he dreamed of attending.
One of USMA's priorities is to develop leaders of character who are committed to the values of Duty, Honor & Country. Peter Wang's actions on February 14 are an example of those principles & the academy honors his dream of being a West Point cadet with a 2025 letter of acceptance pic.twitter.com/fycvJBhte8
