Reuters: U.N. investigator urges Saudi Arabia to open up Khashoggi murder trial
Saudi Arabia’s secretive hearings for 11 suspects accused in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi violate international law and should be open to the public and trial observers, a U.N. human rights expert said on Thursday.
While a U.N. investigator is weighing in, it seems there are no official statements from the Trump administration about a trial that is being called “a kangaroo court.”
