Reuters: Southwest cancels more U.S. flights as it inspects engines
Southwest Airlines Co canceled more flights on Monday as it worked to complete inspections of engines like the one that failed last week in a deadly accident over Pennsylvania.
If you are flying Southwest this week you’ll want to check your flight as dozens of flights are being canceled. Southwest is reportedly pulling planes off scheduled flights to inspect all CFM56-7B engines on its Boeing 737 fleet. It’s expected to take 30 days to do all the inspections.
