Politico: U.S. economic growth slowed in 2018 as consumer rebound was offset by rising trade gap
President Donald Trump had been quick to celebrate the government’s first report on 2018 growth.
The government now estimates that the economy grew by 2.5%, instead of the 3% that Trump boasted.
