Politico: Trump requires food aid boxes to come with a letter from him
“In my 30 years of doing this work, I’ve never seen something this egregious,” one food bank director said.
The Chicago Tribune quotes one food bank director as saying, “It is quite unethical and a misuse of government funds… I find it highly offensive that we have a letter in here that doesn’t add any value and to me it seems very self-promoting.”
Here we go again:
After requiring stimulus checks to include his signature, Trump is now requiring that boxes of surplus food contain a letter from him.
It’s another blatant attempt to buy votes. https://t.co/HcxlmecdQE
