Politico: Senate reaches unemployment benefits deal, ending logjam on Covid aid bill
The breakthrough comes after Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) delayed a Democratic compromise on unemployment insurance.
Final passage will probably come on Saturday.
Senate leaders and moderate Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin have struck a deal on emergency jobless benefits, breaking a logjam that had stalled the party's $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill. The Senate could now begin the process of voting on the measure. https://t.co/atGO6ubrqy
