Politico: Senate confirms Wormuth as first female Army secretary — for real this time
Christine Wormuth initially appeared to be confirmed Wednesday evening, but the Senate quickly pulled it back.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has not explained why she was confirmed, then unconfirmed last night. Whatever the case was, she is now Secretary of the Army.
