Politico: Judge Throws Out Roy Moore’s $95 Million Suit Against Sacha Baron Cohen
The former Alabama chief justice alleged the comedian defamed him in a trick interview.
Roy Moore has lost again.
The two-time failed GOP Alabama Senate candidate had his $95M defamation lawsuit against “Borat” actor Sacha Baron Cohen tossed out of court on Tuesday. The judge’s ruling was based on the grounds the joke interview Cohen conducted with Moore was protected under the First Amendment.
