Politico: Flynn lawyer spoke with Trump, she reveals in contentious hearing
The attorney, Sidney Powell, said she recently briefed the president on the case and asked him not to issue a pardon.
When asked if she met with Donald Trump about Flynn’s case, the former National Security Adviser’s attorney at first claimed “executive privilege,” before actually answering the question.
