Politico: Biden sanctions Cuban regime after crackdown on protesters
The administration’s move comes amid criticism for slow-walking Cuba policy after widespread anti-government protests on the communist-run island.
The president said, “This is just the beginning — the United States will continue to sanction individuals responsible for oppression of the Cuban people.”
