Orlando Sentinel: DeSantis to issue 30-day stay-home order for Florida
Gov. Ron DeSantis finally relented and is ordering Floridians to stay at home beginning at midnight Thursday. Florida had been the only state with more than 5,000 cases to not issue such an order.
DeSantis said, “It’s really an order to individuals saying you can engage in essential services, activities. But other than that you need to stay close to home.”
… that happened Sunday, and DeSantis was pretty clear yesterday that he wasn't at the point of a statewide order.
