NYT: Trump Administration Ends Protected Status for Thousands of Hondurans
The Trump administration will rescind temporary protected status for an estimated 86,000 Hondurans who have been allowed to live and work in the U.S. since 1999.
Hondurans were allowed to stay in the United States following a hurricane in 1999. Now the Trump administration has decided they have until January 2020 to leave.
