NYT: Did a Queens Podiatrist Help Donald Trump Avoid Vietnam?
Dr. Larry Braunstein rented his office from the Trumps. Relatives say he was central to a diagnosis that got the 22-year-old Mr. Trump a medical exemption.
The New York Times reports: “The podiatrist, Dr. Larry Braunstein, died in 2007. But his daughters say their father often told the story of coming to the aid of a young Mr. Trump during the Vietnam War as a favor to his father.”
