NYT: Birch Bayh, 91, Dies; Senator Drove Title IX and Other Historic Legislation
Mr. Bayh, from Indiana, was a force in laws barring sex discrimination, giving 18-year-olds the vote and providing for the removal of a president.
The former Democratic Senator from Indiana died of pneumonia at his home in Easton, Maryland.
