It’s been revealed that on a video call to congratulate the astronaut Peggy Whitson about her time in space, Donald Trump proposed a mission to Mars. When Whitson said it would be at least 13+ years before that could possibly happen, Trump said he wanted it to somehow happen before his first term ended. He thought offering money may help make it happen at the speed of light.
