NPR: Police Officers Slashed Car Tires During Minneapolis Protests, Police Agencies Say
Dozens of cars in a Kmart parking lot had all their tires slashed after public anger over George Floyd’s death sparked large protests in Minneapolis.
Minneapolis authorities admit that state troopers slashed the tires of numerous cars. And it wasn’t just protestors impacted, some journalists returned from covering demonstrations to find their tires flat as well.
