NPR: Kentucky GOP Gov. Bevin Officially Requests Recanvass Of Election Results
Kentucky Republican Gov. Matt Bevin’s campaign has asked the state for a recanvass of the votes from Tuesday’s gubernatorial election, in which he trails by about 5,000 votes.
Recanvassing is set for November 14th.
Gov. Bevin won’t concede until election “irregularities” are looked into.
Governor-Elect Andy Beshear says the election is done and it’s time to move forward.
Gov. Bevin says he left Beshear a voicemail and sent a text, but has not heard back yet. @LEX18News pic.twitter.com/AzpkYGXaBQ
