NPR: Congressional Inquiry Faults Boeing And FAA Failures For Deadly 737 Max Plane Crashes
An investigation into the troubled plane’s development and certification finds a “disturbing pattern” of Boeing design flaws, management failures and “grossly insufficient oversight by the FAA.”
The Transportation Committee wrote, “Boeing failed in its design and development of the MAX, and the FAA failed in its oversight of Boeing and its certification of the aircraft.”
