NPR: A Cicada-Infested Engine Is To Blame For Biden’s Press Corps Travel Delays
A plane carrying dozens of journalists abroad to follow President Biden’s trip to Europe was delayed several hours due to cicadas that filled the plane’s engine.
The cicadas presence has been so strong around Washington D.C. this week that clouds of the insects are visible on weather radar in the area.
