Newsday: Cuomo Says NY is preparing for ‘massive undertaking’ ahead of COVID-19 vaccine
New York State will push to prepare for “a massive undertaking” to review vaccine options, launch efforts to reach state residents and procure up to 40 million doses ahead of the expected completion of research into a COVID-19 vaccine, said Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo.
A lot of people don’t trust Donald Trump fast-tracking a vaccine to market. That includes Governor Cuomo, who today said:
“Frankly, I’m not going to trust the federal government’s opinion, and I wouldn’t recommend to New Yorkers, based on the federal government’s opinion,”
