NBC News: Navy acknowledges request to hide USS John McCain during Trump visit
“A request was made to the U.S. Navy to minimize the visibility of USS John S. McCain” during President Donald Trump’s recent state visit to Japan, the Navy said in a statement.
The Navy confirms this controversial story after Trump falsely claimed it “was an exaggeration, or even Fake News.”
