NBC News: G. Gordon Liddy, planner of Watergate burglary, dies at 90
Liddy, 90, was one of the organizers of the break-in at the Watergate office building that would end Richard Nixon’s presidency.
NBC writes: “Liddy was convicted of conspiracy, burglary and wiretapping in 1973 and sentenced to 20 years in prison. Years later, he declared, “I’d do it again for my president.””
