Robin Haynes Fisher wrote on Instagram last week that he had delayed his trek to the Himalayan summit in hopes of smaller crowds.
As deaths increase on Mount Everest, The New York Times says, “Veteran climbers and industry leaders blame having too many people on the mountain, in general, and too many inexperienced climbers, in particular.”
