NBC News: American Airlines mechanic who allegedly sabotaged plane has ISIS ties, prosecutor says
The 60-year-old man, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Iraq, allegedly had ISIS videos on his phone and a witness said he claimed to have a brother in ISIS.
This mechanic reportedly said he sabotaged this plane to get overtime, but prosecutors believe there is more to the story. And now he’s being held without bond.
