NBC: Denver teachers go on strike after failing to reach pay deal
The school district said schools will remain open during the strike and will be staffed by administrators and substitute teachers.
The dispute is over the question of bonuses and whether or not they should be lowered. Denver teachers say yes, while the school district says no.
