Miami Herald: Bill Nelson concedes to Rick Scott after Florida recount deadline passes
U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson conceded Florida’s Senate race to Gov. Rick Scott Sunday shortly after the deadline passed for the state’s elections offices to submit the totals from manual recounts.
Rick Scott is officially Florida’s newest Senator. Bill Nelson picked up 2000 votes in the manual vote recount, but it wasn’t enough.
