Marketwatch: GOP trolls the Irish and Beto O’Rourke in vile St. Patrick’s Day tweet
The GOP drew outrage for stoking an ethnic stereotype Sunday, tweeting a St. Patricks Day message of “please drink responsibly” with a doctored photo of Democratic presidential candidate — and “noted Irishman” — Beto O’Rourke’s 1998 mugshot for a DUI arrest.
The GOP didn’t just offend O’Rourke, they offended those of Irish descent everywhere.
