LA Times: Tempers flare as millions in California endure power outages from PG&E
The preventive power outages in Northern California could leave more than 2 million people without lights, air conditioning, computers and refrigerators this week. The
California residents are demanding answers and accountability after the unprecedented, intentional blackouts. Sen. Bernie Sanders remarked, “Irresponsible corporate greed threatened the health and safety of 800,000 Californians. Meanwhile, PG&E has paid out billions to its shareholders.”
At least half a dozen wildfires are burning across California. Forecasters say high winds and low humidity are increasing the risk.
