LA Times: Harris coaxes Black communities to get vaccines, but distrust remains high
Supplies and access to COVID-19 vaccines are increasing, but Vice President Kamala Harris is struggling to ease safety concerns among Black Americans.
The Vice President is trying to raise awareness surrounding the COVID vaccine in Black communities. Yesterday she wrote:
Today I visited a Giant pharmacy in Washington D.C., where local residents are getting vaccinated. It’s one of more than 7,000 pharmacies administering millions of vaccines to Americans directly in their communities. We’re making progress – when it’s your turn, get vaccinated.
