LA Times: Hurricane Michael leaves a seaside Florida town in an existential crisis
After Hurricane Michael tore through the small seaside town of Mexico Beach, Fla., demolishing entire blocks and destroying about 75% of homes and businesses, residents and business owners face a daunting challenge in rebuilding.
This is great reporting and a perfect example of why journalists need to stay on a story. Kudos to the Los Angeles Times for spending time to cover news far from home.
