The Guardian: Russian warplane shot down in north-west Syria
Russia says the pilot died after his Su-25 jet was brought down near rebel-held town of Saraqeb in Idlib province
This is the first shootdown of a Russian jet by Syrian rebels. The pilot ejected safely but was killed by rebels on the ground.
