ESPN: FBI determines Wallace not victim of hate crime
An FBI investigation determined that a “garage door pull rope fashioned like a noose” had been in a Talladega Superspeedway garage since October and that Bubba Wallace wasn’t the victim of a hate crime.
This revelation came just a short time after Wallace talked about the incident on The View.
NASCAR’s @BubbaWallace tells @TheView the noose incident “absolutely” reinforces his commitment to social change: “This just shows how much further we have to go as a sport, but also as a nation.”
