The Daily Beast: ‘Criminal and Morally Reprehensible’: Vatican Condemns Priest Sex Abuse in Grand-Jury Report
Two days after a grand jury detailed decades of alleged sexual abuse and cover-ups in the Pennsylvania Catholic Church, the Vatican broke its silence.
The Vatican has responded to the “horrible crimes” they say were committed by Priests in Pennsylvania. The statement seems to indicate they believe this abuse in behind them saying, “Catholic Church reforms in the United States drastically reduced the incidence of clergy child abuse.”
