CNN: These are the two Democrats who voted ‘no’ on the impeachment inquiry resolution
Two Democrats broke from their party and voted against the resolution the House passed Thursday formalizing the procedures of the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.
Both these Democratic Congressmen represent districts that Trump won in 2016.
The White House thought more Democrats would vote with the GOP.
Per our sources, WH aides think 4-5 Dems could cross party lines in today's vote; one staffer says admin. has been working “nonstop” to shore up R support since vote was announced. President's in residence most of the morning, we're told, and has policy mtgs later. (w/ @spettypi)
