CNN: Firefighters on the front lines of the Dixie Fire don’t know if their own homes are still standing
As the Dixie Fire rages out of control in northern California, the largest wildfire currently burning in the US, the heroes on the front lines are fighting the biggest fight of their lives, in their own backyards.
This is now one of the biggest fires in California history. It’s burned almost half a million acres and is only about 20% contained.
