The U.S. will now distribute more than 80 million doses of COVID vaccines to help other countries fighting the pandemic, President Biden announced Monday.
The president said 20 million more vials of the vaccine – which will consist of Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine as well as AstraZenaca’s — will be delivered by the Fourth of July. With America’s vaccination program having succeeded in getting 60% of U.S. adults with at least one shot of the vaccine, the White House says it wants to help other nations get the pandemic under control.
