CNBC: Starbucks to ditch single-use plastic straws by 2020
Starbucks said Monday that it would eliminate single-use plastic straws from all of its cafes globally by 2020.
Score one for the environment. Starbucks has come up with a plan that means eliminating plastic straws in the next two years.
We're removing plastic straws in our stores globally by 2020—reducing more than 1 billion plastic straws per year from our stores.
