CNBC: Special counsel Mueller files witness tampering indictment against Paul Manafort and Russian citizen
Mueller earlier this week asked a federal judge to revoke Manafort’s bond and jail him because of alleged witness tampering in advance of his upcoming federal criminal trial.
The charges against Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort are piling up. Both Manafort and a Russian business associate were charged Friday with obstructing justice and conspiracy. With more pressure coming down, legal analysts wonder if Manafort will flip soon?
