CNBC: Sens. Hickenlooper, Wicker and King test positive for Covid after being fully vaccinated
Sens. John Hickenlooper, Roger Wicker and Angus King, who are both vaccinated for the coronavirus, tested positive for Covid on Thursday.
Senator King released a statement saying, “Despite taking precautions and receiving the vaccine, this morning I tested positive for COVID-19. While I am not feeling great, I’m definitely feeling much better than I would have without the vaccine.” We are hearing from Senator Hickenlooper as well.
I've tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19. I feel good but will isolate per docs instructions. I’m grateful for the vaccine (& the scientists behind it!) for limiting my symptoms.
