CNBC: Government shutdown looks more likely as Congress fails to strike funding, Covid relief deal
Congress has until Friday at midnight to avoid a government shutdown as lawmakers try to finalize a coronavirus relief package.
There are still several items of the stimulus bill that both sides, and even members of the same party, can’t agree on. This now seems like it will stretch into the weekend and perhaps even into next week.
