CNBC: FDA approves Gilead’s remdesivir as coronavirus treatment
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s leading infectious disease expert, has previously said the drug would set “a new standard of care” for Covid-19 patients.
This is the first and only fully approved treatment for coronavirus in the United States.
