CNBC: Dow drops 400 points after Trump says White House to stop negotiating stimulus
Stocks were lower after President Donald Trump instructed White House officials to halt negotiations on further coronavirus stimulus.
A reminder that what Donald Trump says moves markets. Today he seemingly put an end to stimulus talks causing the market to plunge. It happened right after he tweeted, “I have instructed my representatives to stop negotiating until after the election.”
