CNBC: Billionaire coal executive and philanthropist Chris Cline dies at 60
West Virginia officials said the Foresight Energy founder is dead. The 60-year-old died in a helicopter crash, according to his alma mater, Marshall University.
Cline was killed along with six other people when the helicopter they were flying in went down in the Abaco Islands.
Police confirmed 7 Americans were killed in a helicopter crash on July 4th in the Bahamas. The aircraft went down about two miles from Grand Cay Island, killing everyone on board.
