CBS: Trump approves disaster declaration for California as wildfires claim another victim
On Saturday, Gov. Jerry Brown called on President Trump to help California fight and recover from another destructive wildfire season
As the Carr fire continues to burn those impacted are now eligible for federal financial assistance. This comes a day after officials said a flat tire caused the massive fire. The tire’s rim apparently scraped the asphalt causing a spark that ignited the blaze. 300 square miles have reportedly been effected.
