CBS News: Boeing CEO says he would put his family in a 737 Max “without any hesitation”
Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg spoke with Norah O’Donnell in an exclusive interview for the first time since two deadly crashes grounded the 737 Max
The Boeing CEO says he feels confident in the safety of the Max jets, but pilots and the public may still need more convincing before the planes fly again.
"Is the 737 Max going to be up in the air again any time soon?"
"Well, [Boeing CEO Dennis] Muilenburg told us it will be up in the air, he believes, by the end of this year. It could be even sooner than that. And that's key, because this is their bestselling plane." pic.twitter.com/7LhC9bCquk— CBS Evening News (@CBSEveningNews) May 30, 2019
