CBS: Man sentenced to life in prison for kidnapping Jayme Closs and killing her parents
The Wisconsin man who killed a couple, kidnapped their daughter and held her captive for 88 days was sentenced Friday
Jayme Closs wasn’t present for the sentencing, but an attorney did read a heartbreaking statement from the 13-year-old.
"I will always have my freedom and he will not. Jake Patterson can never take my courage," Jayme Closs vows in a powerful statement read on her behalf at kidnapper's hearing.
