CBNC: National Weather Service corrects Trump on Hurricane Dorian: ‘Alabama will not see any impacts’
The National Weather Service’s Birmingham office issued a tweet on Sunday correcting President Trump’s comments that Hurricane Dorian is expected to hit Alabama.
It seems pretty unprecedented that the National West Service would have to contradict the President of the United States.
The Birmingham office of the @NWS had to give reassurance on Sunday after President Trump mistakenly told millions on Twitter that those in Alabama were in the path of “one of the largest hurricanes ever.”
No model at all shows Alabama getting hit by #Dorian.
