The Grio: Breonna Taylor’s ex-boyfriend offered plea deal if he would admit Taylor was part of ‘organized crime syndicate’
Breonna Taylor’s ex-boyfriend was offered a plea deal if he would admit that she was part of an “organized crime syndicate.”
An attorney for Taylor’s family called this “bullsh*t” saying:
“This goes to show how desperate Tom Wine (in case anyone was wondering whose office distributed one-sided information…) is to justify the wrongful search of Breonna Taylor’s home, her killing and arrest of Kenneth Walker. Thank god his office recused itself, as we sure as hell know what they would’ve done. And shame on that office. Breonna Taylor is not a “co-defendant” in a criminal case. She’s dead. Way to try and attack a woman when she’s not even here to defend herself.”
On Tuesday, we were told Breonna Taylor’s ex-boyfriend Jamarcus Glover was offered a plea deal, which would have required him to say that Taylor was part of his drug operation. Just now, the family’s attorney shared a picture of a plea deal that appears to show it is true pic.twitter.com/E9nsWQLKrb
