Bloomberg: Whirlpool Raises Employee Vaccination Incentive to $1,000
The Benton Harbor, Michigan-based appliance maker previously offered its 27,000 U.S. workers $200 cash bonuses in May to get the shot.
Whirlpool is just one of several companies to offer bonuses to employees instead of mandates.
Whirlpool is offering to pay workers $1,000 to get vaccinated against Covid-19.
A company spokesman said the stepped-up vaccine bonus will apply to workers who were previously vaccinated as well as newly vaccinated ones. https://t.co/aGD6Y8uE2q
