Bloomberg: Bump-Stock Ban Left Intact as Top Court Spurns Gun Advocates
The U.S. Supreme Court rejected an appeal by gun-rights advocates and left intact a new federal ban on bump stocks, the attachments that can make a semiautomatic rifle fire like a machine gun.
The appeal argued that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives had incorrectly classified bump stocks as machine guns.
